The Gluten-Free & Allergen-Friendly Expo features over 100 exhibiting brands, samples and coupons, discounted products will be available for purchase (in case you find something you HAVE to buy), classes that are related to the gluten-free and allergen friendly lifestyles, the opportunity to meet brands and bloggers and a free reusable bag to hold all your new discoveries!

I am so excited to be attending this years show myself and seeing what my favorite gluten-free companies have up their sleeves.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus – A Recap of the Night!

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus – A Recap of the Night!Last night was a first for me .. I went to the circus for the 1st time in my 40 years of life. I am happy to report that I finally got to see a Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Circus. The show we saw was “Circus Xtreme”, and the best way to describe the show is that it is a circus on steroids!

I was not sure what to expect or really how I would feel about the animal performers, and overall it was a good experience. When we got to the Valley View Casino Center there was no charge for parking (which was a nice bonus to the evening) but there was a little bit of a walk to get to the entrance. We arrived about 50 minutes ahead of showtime, which gave us time to walk around the venue and take in the sights, sounds and overall atmosphere of the circus.

The atmosphere of the circus was everything I expected – the vendors selling cotton candy, stuffed clowns, the face painting and the caramel apples (which we took home for an after circus treat). The circus floor was a constant flurry of activity from the animals to performers before the show.

The show was called “Circus Xtreme” and that is the best description I could come up with for this show. Everything was a little more amplified from the trapeze artists, the clown and the RingMaster. This was a feast for the eyes and ears, and will fill you with a sense of wonder. If you have chance I would recommend you making the trek down to Valley View and catch the circus while it is in town.

Marvel Universe LIVE! Win a 4 Pack of Tickets!!!

We are all about the confessions around here, and here is another one for you: We love superheros – Spiderman being my favorite character and Wolverine is Jason’s favorite. Since Spiderman is my favorite I am super excited to have the chance to see Spiderman and all his friends in April at Marvel Universe Live!

Marvel Universe LIVE! will captivate audiences with an original story that brings more than 25 Marvel characters together in one epic quest. The story is framed around the battle over the Cosmic Cube, that has been shattered into pieces by the Mighty Thor in order to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. With the pieces scattered across the globe, Thor’s villainous brother Loki devises a scheme to clone its powers, inciting a threat that could not only decimate Earth but also obliterate the Universe.

To defeat Loki, Marvel’s biggest Super Heroes must band together, including The Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor along with Spider-Man and Wolverine, must trek across the globe to retrieve the Cosmic Cube fragments and unite them.
