While I have not had children yet, I can imagine the fear, anxiety and the worry that comes with parenting. While I would imagine the rule of “sleep when your baby sleeps” is extremely helpful, I can also imagine it is nerve-racking. The reason for the worry is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the leading cause of death among infants from 1 month to 1 year old and sadly claims over 2500 lives a year!

I would say safety.
My biggest fear is that something bad might happen.
My biggest fear is losing another one of my children.
I didn’t find out until my triplets were 10 months of age that they have an increased risk of SIDs. Fortunately, we were past that time when I found out.

Both my boys are now grown up. When they were young, my biggest fear is that
they would get seriously hurt. They were so reckless, riding bikes, skateboards, inline skating, etc.
But, boys like to do these things.
My biggest fear as a parent is that something bad will happen to my children. It is scary to realize that as a parent you cannot control everything and make things wonderful 24/7.
My biggest fear is that i’m not doing it right. I’m not teaching her everything she needs to know. I’m not giving her everything she needs. That i’m doing things all wrong. It’s so hard being a parent sometimes. I just pray and pray that I will be a good mother and give her everything she needs in life. <3
