Smith’s Lip Balm Review
It has been mentioned in previous posts that I am not a girly girl, and the problems that can sometimes arise from this life curve I was dealt at an early age. Despite this seemingly easy hurdle to overcome I have been struggling with it my whole life with being a girly girl. Despite this I am beginning to overcome. I have discovered the older I get the more I like to have a variety of beauty products to solve the inevitable ailments and beauty issues I encounter daily. The one problem that seems to stay with me is chapped lips and this could be due to being so close to the Pacific Ocean.
I recently discovered Rosebud Perfume’s line of Lip Balms and I reached out to inquire about the ingredients and they were kind enough to send me a couple to review. I was sent Smith’s Rose and Mandarin Lip Balm and Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm. The thing that piqued my interest is that the company has been around since 1892 and is family owned with a simple mission of offering multi-usage products that are affordable and effective.

The Rose and Mandarin Lip Balm (on the left) is a light red color and smells of a pleasant mix of mint and roses. The Minted Rose (on the right side) was a stronger mint smell and had a cooling effect once applied to the lips. Both Lip Balms came in .5 oz tubes with a slanted applicator to make application to the lips smooth and easy. This Lip Balm goes on easy, feels lightweight on your lips and lasts even when you think it is has worn off.
I would recommend anyone who wants a pure lip balm, I would recommend them to try this lip balm.
