“Winter Wondpurrland” –Cat Lady Box – January 2018 – Review + Giveaway
The days here have turned cold and wet, which means I have two cats that require more and more attention. While this takes from my day a bit more, there is nowhere else I would rather be. When I received the “Winter Wondpurrland” themed Cat Lady Box this month, all the items reminded me of the cat cuddles that cold nights of winter brings.

Fantastic Cat Hoodie – CatLadyBox Exclusive: One of my favorite items of clothes comes from a previous box, which also happens to be a hoodie so I was THRILLED to see a hoodie in the box! This is super soft, and I know after a couple washes it will be even softer. This is nice purple color with a cat that spread on either side of the front. This is a perfect weight, and the nicest color!
Cat-Shaped Mug – CatLadyBox Exclusive: Since I love tea when it is cold, this is the PERFECT mug for my cat loving soul! This fits about 6-8 ounces of liquid and the handle is the tail, with ears along the rim. Super cute, and all mine!
Kitty Cat Pen Set – CatLadyBox Exclusive: Despite having my life online, I do write a considerable amount of the time, so having some pens with “purrsonality” is always welcome. These come in a set of 3 pens, and are a black inked pen. The cat at the tip is adorable, and “purrfect” for cat lovers in an office or home!
CAT TOYS Simon the Snowball and Snowflake Felt Wand Cat Toy – CatLadyBox Exclusive: Maggee saw the snowball, and was a bit thrown at first so I was able to distract her with the Snowflake Felt Wand. The wand is plastic, and the fabric reminds me of the same material lanyards are made out of and measures about 3-4 feet, making it easy to play with kitty.
Cat Lady Featured Artist – “Snow Angel Cat Family” by Krista Smith: I LOVED this months artist, and the snowman cats! This is full of color and holiday sweaters. This postcard will be put on my wall and added to my Cat Lady Postcard collection, which always makes me smile!

When it is cold outside during the day when I am gone my cat jumps into the middle of my comforter and bunches it up so he is warm.
He likes to sleep under a blanket
He gets under the blankets.
“What does your cat do when it gets cold out?” My cat is always safe and warm and protected, so nothing changes!
Our kitties like to sleep. And sleep. 🙂
It doesn’t get cold here. (At least as far as I’m concerned.) Wouldn’t matter. Our cat is a strictly indoor cat.
He sleeps between my feet.
My cat’s an indoor cat, so he’s not affected by the cold, but enjoys watching it snow.
She always stays inside. When it is cold… she stays curled up on her blanket.
They find a sunny spot to sleep.

When it’s cold, my cat Cinnamon insists on being in my lap at all times.

they mostly stay in almost always when its cold but if they do decide they want out I let them but they run right back in like 2 mins later

My 4 cats are indoors and it does not get cold but they do love to sleep in there soft beds
My cat is an indoor cat and it doesn’t really get cold where I live, but she always enjoys snuggling up next me!
Now that winter is here, Maddie enjoys curling up near the wood stove, cuddling on a lap, sitting on a sunny windowsill, or napping on a soft fluffy blanket throw.
My cat likes to curl up next to our coiled heater next to the floor when it gets cold.

I love my fur babies we have a cat door they can come and go as they please but in the cold they only go out to go to the bathroom then back in to snuggle

What does your cat do when it gets cold out?
I have a few seniors and they have heating pads, they hang out on those a lot. I have cat beds scattered around but the best place they choose is in a humans lap all snuggled up.
My cat is an indoor cat, but likes her soft blankets to sleep on and stay warm on our bed.
I have a heated throw blanket that I put on for my 21 year old cat. I think it feels good on her joints and bones. She probably has some arthritis at her age. I bought the blanket for me and she kinda took it over.
My cat usually cuddles up somewhere (usually on top of a blanket) and sleeps all day when it is cold out.
Only one of our cats is outside very much–but in our recent cold snap, even he stuck his nose out and immediately backed up into the house. Generally we find them asleep on one of the beds.

I’m not the crazy cat lady. My neighbor is that she is wonderful. She took in several stray cats. She has also had most of the strays around our neighborhood at her own expense. She lives them all and named them. So I am trying to einnhnis for her.
SHE has had them fixed at her own expense.
He likes to be in the house when it’s cold, his litterbox is in the garage & he usually stays in the garage at night.

My black cat is an indoor only cat so not much changes. He spends less time in our loft which is extra hot in the summer (so he LOVES it) but colder in the winter.

My cats definitely seek out the blankets more when it is cold out.
My cats are strictly inside cats. In the winter they tend to sleep curled under the blankets on my bed.
The cold really doesn’t bother him, he is an indoor/outdoor cat.
When it is cold outside, my cat stays on my foot stool next to our electric heater. My cat, Chaos, hates the cold weather.

I have 3 and they do a lot more sleeping.
I have 2 cats. The one loves to lay on top of one of my heaters in the living room and the other will lay on one of the heaters upstairs or will lay downstairs at my feet where my space heater is pointed.
She looks out the window or door for a few minutes then goes to her bed!

My fat boy George is 10+ pounds and thinks he’s a lap kitty. When it gets cold he is trying to be on me as much as possible lol.
