Catit – Flower Drinking Fountain Review + Giveaway
One of the things that I worry about as a pet guardian is that my cats get the water they need each day. Each day I switch their water so that it is fresh as possible, and each time Maggee knows and sits and waits for her fresh water bounty.
There are days that the water levels do not reduce as much as I would like, and on days like these there is little I can do other than let them have fresh faucet water. When I recently saw the Catit Flower Drinking Fountain I instantly thought that this would be a new and creative way for them to have the water they need while allowing them some fun!

I received a Catit Flower Drinking Fountain for Maggee and Murfee to enjoy water in a new and different way.
The Catit Flower Drinking Fountain comes with a filter, a floral stem, pump and a/c adapter and is really simple to construct. The flower allows you do adjust the flow of water, with bubbling, gentle flow and streaming to be an option.
The pump has suction cups that allow the pump to stay put at the bottom of the bucket, while directing the water up the flower to stream out for the cat to enjoy. The capacity is 3 liters (or 100 fluid ounces).
The flower has grooves in between the petals which allows the water to stream down, while making it easy for the cat to drink.
As an added bonus, the box that the Catit Flower Drinking Fountain came in is an interactive game for kitty, although the box is small so it is much more for a kitten size cat, not my chunky monkey.
The height is perfect and allows the cat to sit up or stand while drinking. I would advise placing it up against a wall or something so the cat can not flip the fountain over. The fountain does need to be plugged in, so I would advise keeping it within distance of a plug, but it is quiet and the kitties love it! Maggee realized quickly that it was a water device and now she meows at it when it is off, hoping her cries will make it turn on!

Truth requires that I say my cats…..love to eat! When I get up in the morning and feed them, they are so excited their tails quiver. My two youngest cats love to play with toys of any kind and bat them about. I can still get the older ones revved up a bit with a cat toy fishing pole, or a red dot laser. Several of mine also love to lay in front of an open window and watch the world, or bask in a sun spot.
They love to chase the red dot light.
My cat likes discovering new places for him to lie and rest in/on. Every 2 weeks he seems to find somewhere new.

My cats favorite activity is running around the house like lunatics after one another. Well, that’s one of the many things that they enjoy. The 2 year old, Keala, seems to enjoy making a mess of her water dish. LOL.

Sometimes I think my cat’s favorite activity is attacking my feet, but the other thing that comes to mind (and it’s totally weird)–he sneaks into my cupboard and steals (unused!) tampons. Those are literally his favorite thing to play with.

The favorite activity depends on the cat, since we have several. Aside from sleeping, the older ones seem to enjoy just laying around and viewing the activity around them–the kittens however are always playing and chasing each other around.
