Simply Earth: Essential Oil Recipe Box – Road Trip/Spa at Home – July 2017 – Review + Giveaway

July is one of my favorite months since it is my birthday month, but that is not the only reason I love the 7th month of the year.

This time of year is full of warmth and humidity which are less than pleasant. During these summer months peace and quiet are more rare, and the need for a getaway is sometimes needed.

This months Simply Earth box is centered around giving you that spa experience at home and road trip remedies. This monthly subscription box gives the subscriber the opportunity try out some essential oil remedies giving natural solutions to everyday problems.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Simply Earth. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Simply Earth was generous and sent on of their monthly subscription essential oil box for review. I received the July 2017 Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box which was focused on road tripping and giving you a spa day at home and contains the following items:

There were 5 different recipes in Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box. Each of these cards revolve around the overall road trip and spa day theme, and provide essential oil based options or “recipe” cards.. Also included were small circle stickers that make labeling your recipes. In previous months the cards have been floral in them and this month each card was in full color, with a relevance to the theme of the season and box.

There were 4 pure essential oil bottles at 15ml each of Amyris, Orange, and Ginger, The fourth essential oil was a blend called Peace & Quiet.

Also included was a bottle of Aloe Vera, a metal 2 spray bottles and a clothespin. Each of these are meant to be used in the recipes.

Each month there are note cards that include ideas for uses for the included essential oils. These can range from a simple idea, such as making a blend to be used in a diffuser. The use of a diffuser helps to administer the benefits of essential oils. Other options include mixing a couple of oils together to make a relief formula. Also, included each month are online videos to help you create the recipes.

With this months theme of “Road Trips and Spa’s” each of the recipes are reliefs or blends to assist with common issues such as hand cleaner, mini-car freshener and blends to give you a spa experience. Each recipe is different and the best thing is that each of the recipes can be used in any of the implements such as the spray bottle or put on the enclosed clothespin.

Simply Earth was founded by two brothers and their wives with the simple mission to make it easy and affordable to have natural options in your home.

Also, with each item purchased 13% of the profits go towards the fight to help end human trafficking.

As I learn more and more about essential oils, I really appreciated having a monthly box with instructions and the oils needed to make remedies that are usable. Each of the recipes are simple mixes, and can replace some of the over the counter health remedies that do the same thing these mixes do.

I have mentioned in a previous monthly box review that I think that anyone new or experienced with the Essential Oil’s would benefit greatly from this box. The Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box is a great way to use these versatile and safe oils.

Woow I would love to try the ginger oil! I know that eating and drinking ginger is a natural boost for a healty body, so i guess using the iol will be just as healing.
