Sugar Bowl Bakery: Madeleines, Petite Brownies Bites and Apple Fritters Review + Giveaway

In our spare time, we watch a lot of baking shows, and I dream of making the concoctions, creations and decadent deserts. Since I am unable to make these delicious looking creations, I am forced to purchase them.

When I was approached by Sugar Bowl Bakery to try a couple of thier treats, I was immediately interested and my taste buds were excited. Sugar Bowl Bakery has been in business 25 years and is located almost 7 hours north of me, and despite distance, I am still able to try these treats.

I received an assortment of Sugar Bowl Bakery treats including:

I was so excited to have the opportunity to try the Madeleines. These are a petite and sweet French cookie that is made with 100 percent butter. They are free of trans-fat’s and preservatives. These would be good with your morning coffee, or tea. When I had my first one, the first thing I thought of was that they reminded me of a smaller pound cake, but a bit buttier and tastier. These are moist and not crumbly or dry, and would absorb any liquid you give them. I loved these and have snuck a couple each time I pass the box.

One of my favorite things are Apple Fritters and these were just perfectly delicious. These are made with fresh ingredients like tart Granny Smith apple chunks and fresh ground cinnamon. The fritters are free of preservatives and artificial ingredients.

These Petite Brownie Bites are the perfect size and a low-cal, organic, are the perfect treat when you’re wanting to indulge in a little chocolate. These would be good slightly warmed with fresh whipped cream. The chocolate was not overbearing, but enough that left no doubt they were chocolate

Prior to this review I had not heard of Sugar Bowl Bakery and was not aware how many stores they were in from Costco to grocery stores. These were so good, and I would love to take a box of Madelienes to my next family gathering.
