Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – October 2016 Review
As I listen to my husband sniffle and snort I realize that the weather is changing, and with that comes the fall holidays.
With the fall holidays comes the scents, conversations and planning for the next 8 weeks. With the weather changing the temperature is dropping and when I saw the October Peaches and Petals box I was reminded of the approaching days.
The boxes contents all revolve around the “Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice” theme and are appropriate, and useful while constantly remaining in theme.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Jammin Butter/Peaches & Petals. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own. Prices listed are subject to change without notice.
Peaches and Petals is a monthly box that caters to ‘fun, flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. As a subscriber each month you will receive 3-5 items that have been hand selected personally by the Peaches and Petals team. The included items range from books, household items, gift items and are usually within a monthly box theme. There can be other items included, depending on the box and theme for the month.
Each month Peaches and Petals strives to make sure the items are useful, stylish and high quality while maintaining the thematic feeling. If you are interested see previous box reviews here.
The October 2016 box included the following within the “Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice” theme including:
Cozy Scarf: This is one of the softest scarves that I have ever felt! Since I love to spend time on my porch, and the weather is shifting towards the cooler temperatures, this is the perfect addition to my collection of warmth items.
Travel Mug: Again, since I have spending more time outside as the temperature gets cooler this is perfect cup to keep my apple cider drinks warm although since this does not have insulation, it will be a quick cool down. This cup is perfect, although I do wish it was a bit bigger – it seems to be about 16oz capacity.
Mandala Color Puzzle: I absolutely love puzzles, and not only is this a traditional jigsaw puzzle but it also has the ability to be colored. I have not put this together, and will during the holidays – I think I am going to let my nieces help me!
Bay Point Candles – Pumpkin Pie Candle: It is the time of year that pumpkin fills the air, and the candles that are burned. This candle was strong upon opening, and it was strong during burning and made our house smell like I was baking a pie!
Fannie Mae –Pixies: When I was young, one of my father’s favorite things were chocolate covered caramel and nut combinations. This Fannie Mae Pixie was reminiscent of those days when I would sneak my father’s chocolate.
This box never disappoints and if you are looking for an awesome box, I urge you to give Peaches & Petals a try!
