Numi Organic Tea: Holistic Herbal Teas Review

Numi Organic Tea: Holistic Herbal Tea Review + Giveaway

One of the benefits of blogging is that I get to try products that I normally would not have the opportunity to sample. About a month ago I got to sample the 6 tea collection from Numi Tea. Had I not had this opportunity, I would not have tried these teas.

After a long day of writing, there is nothing more relaxing than a cup of tea. Recently I received a sampling of Numi Tea and their Organic Holistic Teasan Tea and was so impressed that I felt the need to do a formal review.

Infuser Mug and Best SellersAs a blogger and writer I keep odd hours. During these long hours the last thing I want to do is pump my body full of the energy drinks that I do during the early hours.

I have discovered that while highly caffeinated drinks are not a realistic option, an item like tea is a viable option. Back in May of 2015, I reviewed a couple of items from EnjoyingTea.com and thought highly of the company. Since I loved the tea I recived so much I was thrilled to recieve a couple of items for review.

Peaches & Petals November Box Subscription Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – November 2015 Review and Giveaway

November Peaches and Petals OverviewOne of my favorite thing about monthly subscription boxes is the random curated surprise that await the recipient. I love the unique items included and the useful items. I think that after almost a year of reviewing boxes, my favorite part is seeing the theme of the contents. I appreciate when I box has a unifying them that ties it together.

Peaches and Petals is taking this concept of a unifying theme and bringing it to each monthly box. This is a subscription box that caters to ‘fun. flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. What does that mean to you the subscriber? It means that each month you will receive 3-5 items hand selected by the Peaches and Petals team and can range in items from creams, nail polish, makeup, scarves and bags  or/and a vintage piece of jewelry. There could be other items included, depending on the box and theme for the month. The November 2015 box seems to have a unifying theme of “Infinity”.

Enjoying Tea Review and Giveaway

 Enjoying Tea Review and Giveaway

Enjoying Tea Variety Sample and Smart Tea MakerDrinking tea is something I have done since I was in my mid teens. Tea is one of those things that help me relax after a long day, or during the less pleasant times of the month I encounter.

I drink iced tea throughout the day but rarely have hot tea. This has begun to change as I get older, and find a cup before bed is quite relaxing. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to the use the Smart Tea Maker to brew the tea sampler they sent to me.

I was able to sample the Variety Sampler, which includes the following flavors:Enjoying Tea Variety Sampler

BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review – April Box

BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – April Box

20150225_171318Calm, Peaceful and Serene, these are all words I would use to describe yoga but not myself. I love that I get this monthly box of calm and peacefulness in my mailbox.

April BuddhiBoxA couple of months ago I had the opportunity to review the February BuddhiBox (click here to see that review) and was lucky enough to have a chance to review the new April box.

When I opened the box I was again greeted by wonderfully folded green tissue paper and 3 cardboard information cards sealed with a sticker. One card had the “Goddess Pose” pose that shows the pose as well as the benefits and cautions when using that pose. There was a recipe for a “Blueberrry Bliss Goddess Bars” that is made using only 4 ingredients (coconut, blueberries, maple syrup and vanilla beans). The final information card included was a box content listing and the following quote:

I bow to all woman. To our strength, to our softness, to our wisdom, to our beauty. – Elena Brower
