As not only a bargain shopper, but also as a crafter I am always on the lookout for good deals and bargains. One of the more expensive times of the year is Back to School time – many times there are lists of items that need to be purchased, and at times the need to go to multiple stores is needed.

As I was recently walking through my local Dollar Tree I realized that those classrooms lists that forced my father to numerous stores, could be purchased at Dollar Tree.

Buffalo Range: All Natural Buffalo Treats Review

Buffalo Range: All Natural Buffalo Rawhide Treats Review & Giveaway

As a pet guardian I am a firm believer that as “guardians” it is our job to make our pets have the best life possible. This could be from giving them attention when they want it, giving them the best food available or making sure the treats they have are pure.

As much as we love our pets, we are unable to communicate with them. Due to this we are responsible for making their food decisions for them. When I look for treats, my goal is to give them the most pure products with ingredients I can pronounce.

When I learned about the new Buffalo Range All Natural Buffalo Rawhide Treats I knew that I wanted Meadow to have the opportunity to try them since I had read that they were natural and did not contain preservatives or fillers.

Cars.com – Car Shopping Made Easy

Finding The Right Car with Cars.com

This post was sponsored by Cars.com, but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Recently, we purchased a new car – a 2017 Subaru Forester. It took us over a month to make the decision on the make, model and features. To come to this decision we followed a couple of tips that without, our car buying results would not have been as favorable.

When we began looking there were a couple of cars in our price point, and all of comparable build, so it came down to the important things.

The first thing that we did was research, and more research. Jason is a big guy and I am of average size, finding a car that fit him, yet did not make me feel engulfed was paramount. As we began to do our research used Cars.com to do our research, which was extensive. One thing we wanted to see was video reviews, which we found on Cars.com easily. One very important factor for us was we wanted the good, bad and the ugly on the considered cars, which we were able to locate on Cars.com.

Another important thing to do is SHOP AROUND! I can not express this more! Each dealership has different makes, models and trims, so it is worth a look to see what each dealer has available. With technology and email, you can even email a dealership to inquire about inventory. When you do this initial shopping around, you will gain a baseline of what the car basically costs with desired features and trims.

The other important factor is to go in educated about your potential car. When we went to the dealer, we knew the details of the car we wanted. This immediately told the salesman that we could not be taken advantage of. We knew the potential rebates and we knew the features we wanted. We felt empowered and in control of a situation that most times feels out of control, which led us to to feeling we got the best deal.

With the right research using Cars.com we found the perfect car that fits Jason and gives me the safety I desire. We both agree that we could not imagine another car and could not be happier with our purchase. We know that it was the research ahead of time that lead us to our car.

An Introduction to I and Love and You

An Introduction to I and Love and You + A Giveaway

When I was young I thought that I would grow up and be a veterinarian. The biggest problem with this lofty plan was I could not stand to see an animal in any distress. Once the animal showed signs of pain, panic or discontent, I would react with tears and sympathy in abundance.

As a pet owner now I look for I look for companies that support the causes I believe in such as shelter adoption. The best is companies that also support animal welfare organizations and advocate for healthy and nutritious food options and in my searching I came upon I and Love and You.

Get Some Sweet Sleep with Nectar Sleep

Best Bed Under $1000

Nectar Sleep provided me with compensation in exchange for this sponsored blog post. This post does contain affiliate links, but all opinions expressed here are my own

If there is one thing that I have always valued, it is my sleep. From the time I can remember I have loved sleep and can get upwards of 12 hours at times. Sleep and I get along, and we get along well.

Sadly for my husband the opposite is true – he is lucky to get 2 hours in a row on any given night. The disparity in our sleep patterns are obvious and at times frustrating, I have begun the process of researching mattresses that are good for me, yet will also work for my insomniac spouse.
