Stampin’ Up: Crafting Forever Stamp Set Review

How “Crafting Forever” Became A Part of My Life + a Giveaway

My crafting began when I was young with simple coloring, until the day I drove my father crazy. See I was a mere 16 years old and grounded, I was beyond bored and began to drive my father crazy. I was such a nightmare that despite being grounded I was told to go to the craft store and “buy a hobby”. My budget was my imagination and desire, and I was nothing if not overwhelmed.

After about an hour I chose a paint-by-number and a latch-hook kit, which I did finish and with those seeds, the love of crafting was born. I have been addicted ever since, and I can not imagine my life without the crafts.

When I saw the stamp set Crafting Forever Rubber Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up I saw reminders of those first crafts that began the crafting fire inside of me.

Stampin’ Up: Love Today Planner Review

Keep Love on the Schedule – Love Today Planner by Stampin’ Up Review + Giveaway

There are busy days ahead, there is no doubt – the school season has returned. With this new year comes appointments, meetings, carpools, assignments due and somehow finding time for you to breathe.

One of the biggest struggles is keeping all these dates and schedules straight. I have tried to make sticky notes in strategic places that I know I will see. These fall and inevitably end up doing nothing more than assisting me in forgetting the event. I have tried phone reminders but I end up “snoozing” those, and before I know it, I have snoozed through another event. There is one method that helps me keep events and dates in order – a nice planner. I am a simple gal and need a calendar, room to write events and places to put random pieces of paper.

A couple of years ago my favorite planner finally had met it’s fateful end while I was sad, I never anticipated that it would be so difficult to replace. Ever since I had that loss I have been on a search for an adequate replacement. When I saw the new Love Today Planner Kit by Stampin’ Up it was the closest thing to my beloved planner.

Stampin’ Up: Seaside Shore Stamp Set Review

Stampin’ Up: Seaside Shore Clear-Mount Stamp Set Review + Giveaway

A couple of weeks ago I took a walk to the beach, and discovered that it is about 1400 steps from my house. As I took the walk up the hill that leads to the beach, I wondered if I would see any whales, dolphins or sand art. As I crested the peak of the hill, I began to smell the familiar smell of ocean air, and my steps increased. Once I reached the coast, I was met with blue skies, white water and so many surfers surfing.

As I walked home, I was struck by how lucky I was that I am able to witness this beauty with a simple walk. I want to share the sights, sounds and the feeling of the ocean, and the best way is with cards and letters.

It was on that day of 1400 steps that I took the new stamp set Seaside Shore Wood-Mounted Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up to get some pictures of the coast. When I got home, I realized that with this stamps set I could tell the story of my walk.
