When I received the December Quilty Box Mini I was thrilled since I love to use cat fabric to make my cats comfortable sleep spots. I always love to see sophisticated fabric that matches our decor and house colors. Continue reading →
When I received the November Quilty BoxMini I immediately loved the fabric, and the ice cream pattern. I have always loved fabric that can be for almost any purpose and any gender and this fabric fits that description to perfection. Continue reading →
Since I was little I have not been a filly girl, while I appreciate the pink shades, I appreciate blues much more. When I got married, I realized my conservative color pallet of blues would be perfect for a husband who is equally unfrilly!
The November Quilty Box included a wonderfully put together pallet of colors that any blue and neutral color fan would love.
When I was at the Craft and Hobby Show last year, I came across a company called Smart-Fab. Smart-Fab is a rainbow of a fabric alternative that was full of color. Not only did the bright colors get my attention, but the material itself was so versatile and easy to use.
When Jason and I bought our house a dream of mine came true – I got my dedicated craft room. One of my first priorities was to create art from the materials contained in my craft room. I had always dreamed of having my craft room and I began dreaming of all the things I would create within those 4 walls.
The best way to describe my craft room, is said best by the young lady of a friend of ours when she said “coolest room ever”. My goal was to create a creative space that was filled with love and send a message to everyone who visited that this was a space to not only create but was filled with love.
When I attended the Craft and Hobby Mega Show in Anaheim in January I was introduced to Buttons Galore & More. The first thing that I noticed was the paper crafting project feature wall, as well as the 40 feet of buttons contained within the booth. Shortly after CHA 2016, I was sent a selection of buttons for review and crafting.
Each year the craft and hobby industries stores, media and crafter’s get together in one wonderful weekend in January. For the first time in 2016 I was able to attend this show. My hope was to discover new things and new crafting mediums that I would be able to share with my readers.
The 2016 show was held in Anaheim and this year featured hundred of exhibitors – all showing what the year had in store for their brands. Upon entry, I took a moment to take everything in and after gaining my bearings I set off on my quest of discovery.
The first company that I came across was Smart-Fab, with their rainbow of color that was scattered throughout their booth. Not only did the bright colors get my attention, but the material itself was so versatile and easy to use.
