Ever since I took over care of Meadow I have been much more aware of what she eats and have begun making her treats. The reason I have been making treats is knowing what is going into them and I love having them shaped like dog bones. When I recently received the Messy Mutts Silicone Dog Treat Maker, I was inspired to make some pumpkin based treats.

The Messy Mutts Silicone Dog Treat Maker can be used for baked treats or frozen treats, and are easy to pop the treats out. There are 8 bones and is freezer, microwave, dishwasher and oven safe (up to 446°F). In addition it is made of FDA approved silicone, is BPA Free. and is PVC Free.

Not to be left out are the cats, and they received a Messy Cats 2 in 1 Cat Cuddler/Cat House in a wonderful grey color. The thing that got my attention about this bed was the versatility in that I can collapse the top and make an open bed, or pop it up and make a cave for them to crawl into.

The Messy Cats 2 in 1 Cat Cuddler/Cat House features EVERFRESH probiotic technology that continuously provide natural, non-toxic odor control. As I mentioned above the 2 in 1 easily converts from bed to house with pop-up roof and also features a peekaboo entrance folds down to convert to traditional bed. The bed is made in a durable fabric and features a non-slip base that prevents shifting and keeps bed in place on carpet or tile.

Each of these products were perfect for their intended purpose, and each pet loved the treats and comfort that the products provided. If you are looking for gifts for your furry friends be sure to check out Messy Mutts!

I will admit that I am not the world’s premier baker, but I sure do enjoy baking. There is something almost magical about the process of mixing a bunch of ingredients that are tasteless apart and an hour later, having something edible.

One of the more challenging things to bake is a cheesecake, from the crust to the topping so any help to make one perfect is welcome in my kitchen. When I recently received an email about the Easy Bath Cheesecake Wrap I was curious if this would make cheesecakes easier to make.

Whole Note Foods Muffin Mix Holiday 2016 Giveaway

Whole Note Baking Mixes – Holiday 2016 Muffin Mix Giveaway

whole-foods-muffin-mixesWhen i think of the the holidays, I think of a potluck style meal, where everybody brings their favorite side dish.

A couple of years ago I got over zealous and made over 7 different types of bread. I searched online, pinning boards and my bread recipe collection. I ended up making a couple of pumpkin bread’s, a couple of banana bread’s, a cranberry-apple bread, and a zucchini bread. The process was laborious and as one baked, another would be loaded into the oven.

Since that holiday, each time there is a potluck, I am the “official” bread baker of the family. With the added awareness of gluten sensitivities, my once simple bread making process has changed and I end up making 1/2 of the breads gluten-free.

With my bread making duties starting and the holidays approaching, I am looking for time-saving ways to create many loafs, minus the work. One way I have learned to save time is to purchase the “base” of the bread from Whole Note Food Company, and add the fresh fruits and vegetables to the mix prior to baking.
