Celestial: A Colorable Zodiac Journal Review

Celestial: A Colorable Zodiac Journal Review + Giveaway

I am a summer baby – July to be exact. When I was young I hated having my birthday in the middle of summer when all my friends were out-of-town.

There is also another element to having a summer birthday is that I am firmly in the astrological sign is in the Cancer time frame.

When I saw the new Celestial: A Colorable Zodiac Journal by Gabriel Picolo/Blue Star Coloring I decided to look and see how similar I am to the astrological description.  Continue reading

As we go through life, we accumulate a lifetime of memories and moments. Many of these are captured through photos and videos, but most of them exist in our minds.

Wellspring: Grownup Notebook’s (Coloring Books) Review + Giveaway

There are days when I spend most of the daylight and into the nighttime on the blog. I spend time learning and educating myself, as well as cultivating relationships and finding new products.

Since I spend so much time at the computer, I enjoy taking time away to clear my eyes and mind, and in those moments I like to color.

Recently I came across a coloring book that is a bit different from the other coloring books on the market – it is spiral bound. Wellspring has a variety of Grownup Notebooks that you can color.

Coloring Planner: Stress Relieving Cats Review

Coloring Planner: Stress Relieving Cats Review + Giveaway

As a blog owner I have many hats, and many duties to accomplish throughout the day. Most of these I remember, and have a system’s in place for most tasks. Even with systems being in place it is nice to have a planner that I can make notes about meetings, calls and daily to-dos.

I have always gotten planners with colors, and a theme that I enjoy. If I can get more spaces for notes and such, that is always a bonus. When I recently saw the Coloring Planner: Stress Relieving Cats by Blue Star Coloring I got excited – not only was it a planner but a CAT themed planner! Continue reading

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – December 2016 Review

To say the holidays are a busy time is an understatement of epic proportions, from Thanksgiving to New Years, the days are packed.

My favorite thing about this time of year is seeing family and friends that we normally do not get to see. We get to meet babies born, important significant others and breaking bread with loved ones.

When I saw the December Peaches and Petals boxes theme I was reminded of the approaching days since it was a “Jingle and Mingle” theme that the box would revolve around. Each items are appropriate, and useful while constantly remaining in theme.

When I was young one of my most disliked classes was anatomy. There must have been a mental block in my mind because no matter how many times I reviewed those diagrams I never quite got the idea.
