Quilty Box: Classic Box Review – February 2018

Classic Quilty Box – February 2018 Review

As a crafter, one of the crafts that is in my bag-of-tricks is sewing. I love the idea that I can take a flat piece of fabric and within a couple of hours, create something useful for human or feline.

When I received the February 2018 Quilty Box I was pleased to see a green and blue combination, since our house has an ocean/earth vibe.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Quilty Box. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received the February 2018 Quilty Box that included the following items:

Kona Solids Fabric BundleThis collection of fabric is a selection from the Kona Solids Line and includes 2 greys, 3 blues, and 3 yellow/greens. Also included is black and white fabric. Also included is a Auriful Thread (#2600) which is a pale blue that almost looks like a clear sky, it coordinates with this fabric well.

Rock Candy Pattern by Little Jaybird Quilts: This is a pattern from designer Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts. The pattern includes illustrations and instructions that are simple to follow and simple to execute.

Sidekick Ruler: The Sidekick Ruler can cut 3 shapes in 4 sizes from strips of fabric. This can also cute diamonds, 60 degree triangles and half triangles and can be used with other Jaybird Quilts.

Also included is a magazine, and a full pattern with instructions to create a cute quilt with the enclosed fabric!

There is a manifest that gives the cost and details of each item in the box.

I LOVED this box, and I love that quilters and crafters have a monthly box that delivers the items needed to create a sophisticated and stylish quilt!

If you have a crafter or quilter – get them a Quilty Box!!
