Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – January 2017 Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – January 2017 Review

There is funny thing that happens, when the calendar switches over to the new year, it is almost as if the reset button has been hit. There is a general feeling that with the new year comes new opportunities to try something new, engage in a new hobby or changing entire habits.

While I have the best intentions each new year I have little ability to carry through with resolutions much longer than the first month of the year. The one thing that the new year can do is bring new opportunities and new surprises, which is my resolution for the new year.

One of the best surprises that I have discovered are monthly subscription boxes. Since the theme for the January Peaches and Petals boxes was “2017 Brings New Surprises” it seemed very timely and appropriate for my outlook on 2017. Each items are appropriate, and useful while constantly remaining in theme.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Jammin Butter/Peaches & Petals. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own. Prices listed are subject to change without notice.

Peaches and Petals is a monthly box that caters to ‘fun, flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. As a subscriber each month you will receive 3-5 items that have been hand selected personally by the Peaches and Petals team. The included items range from books, household items, gift items and are usually within a monthly box theme. There can be other items included, depending on the box and theme for the month.

Each month Peaches and Petals strives to make sure the items are useful, stylish and high quality while maintaining the thematic feeling. If you are interested see previous box reviews here.

The January 2017 box included the following within the “2017 Brings New Surprises” theme including:

Hamilton Beach Insulated Water Bottle: Since we have cats, we are constantly on the lookout for a bottle that will hold our drinks without spillage. This is a nice green color, and has a 17 ounce capacity which is about the size of a bottle of water. Not a ton of capacity, but would be great to take in the car for long drives.

Kenneth Jones Socks: Regular readers are familiar with the fact that I love socks. These are super soft and perfect to wear while putting my feet up while working.

480 Sticky Note Collection: I am always making notes, and then amending or adding to them so having a collection of 480 sticky notes will fit my life well. I thought that this was cute in the presentation and the simplicity of the packaging! This would make a cute gift!

So Fresh So Clean: There is no doubt that I live pre-moistened wipes, so I appreciate having some that not only clean up, but I can use on makeup. These are soft and easy to use – again these would be a cute gift for a teen learning to use makeup.

Surprise Item – Bracelet: Each month there is an included surprise item – this month was a really cute bracelet, and since it was of neutral colors it would match many of my clothes.

This box never disappoints and if you are looking for an awesome box, I urge you to give Peaches & Petals a try!
