Can’t say I’ve had a “most memorable” Valentine’s Day. Nothing stands out. I guess mine have been pretty boring and/or uneventful. But that’s ok!

My hubby never gives me flowers so the one time he gave me a dozen roses on Valentine’s Day was the most memorable. It was many years ago.

Valentine’s Day of 1990 was the most memorable for me. I was overdue with my second child and quite miserable! She was born 2 days later.

My most memorable? Valentine’s Day? I guess I’ve never had one! My grandmother made hand-drawn cards for me when I was little–that was nice.

My most memorable Valentine’s day was before we had kids and my husband took me to NYC for a day trip. We had a romantic dinner and saw a Broadway show.

Those look yummy! Perfect for Valentine’s Day! My son gave me a plastic rose when he was maybe 8 or 9 years old. It was unexpected and made me super happy!

Every valentines with my hubby is the most memorable. We actually dont celebrate “valentines” but our anniversary which is the day after (Feb 15). My husband says he doesn’t need a special day to celebrate us or let me know I’m special, its everyday!

One year my husband sent my dog into my workplace with balloons tied to collar, carrying a baskets of flowers. It is most memorable because it surprised me and made me laugh. He had to get special permission to do it!

I have had some really nice Valentine’s Days but one stands out. My “now” hubby then boyfriend wasn’t able to be with me on the day but stopped by for about 20 minutes to give me candles in a heart shaped box and played me a song called Shape of My Heart by Sting. I thought it was very romantic gesture.

My most memorable Valentine’s day is when my hubby (who believes this day was created by the card and candy industry…lol) made me a DVD of family moments for me instead of flowers! So thoughtful and sweet.

When our oldest daughter was one, my IL’s babysat and my husband & I went on an early date to the movies. I remember having her dressed in a cute little Valentines Day outfit, she had pants with hearts on them, a red turtleneck & suspenders with hearts on them and she even had on socks with hearts on them. 🙂

When I got a gas station rose for Valentine’s Day, which was an improvement, as I usually didn’t get anything.

Sorry, don’t really have any memorable Valentine Day memories. Except for the cards from the children, has never been a big deal.
