Kiss Naturals: Soap Making Kit Review

Kiss Naturals: Soap Making Kit Review + Giveaway

A couple of years ago I got a gift of handmade soaps from my sister-in-law. I loved the soaps, and the absolute creativity behind them and I have since been pondering the idea of making my own, but honestly did not know where to start and what ingredients I would need. When I saw theΒ Kiss Naturals Soap Making Kit I saw a all-in-one way that I could finally make my own creative soaps.Β

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Kiss Naturals. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received a Kiss Naturals – Glycerine Soap Making Kit for my DIY making fun.

This is a simple kit, with all the items that are needed to make 16 shaped soaps and includes 8 blocks of glycerine soap – 5.6 oz, 1 soap mold with 4 molds, 1 heating tray, 2 colors – blue and pink, 1 measuring cup, 1 spoon, 2 flavors 2 ml each in jasmine and tropical sunset and one instruction sheet.

The instructions are simple, easy to follow and start with taking one block from the soap and placing it in the provided cup and melting in the microwave.

Included is a handy heating tray that keeps the soap steady, as well as being there to help with heat.

Once the soap is melting, it is time to add color and scent, and deciding which molds you will pour your soap into. One block makes 2 of these small soaps, so if you make all the blocks, you will be waiting for the soaps to set.

Once you have poured the soap into the mold, leave it for about 15 minutes to harder, and then pop your soaps out.

I loved this kit, it was very simple, which would be perfect for younger kids with adult supervision. I would think that almost any essential oil might work, which leaves the options limitless! If you want a simple kit to make your own soaps get a Kiss Naturals – Glycerine Soap Making Kit.

“Have you ever made your own soap? If you did what scent would your soap be?” I have not made soap–maybe it could be lavender-scented!

I have never made my own soap but I have wanted to for years. It’s hard to decide which I’d want to make first – it would be a toss up between oatmeal or lavender.

I’ve never made soap though I’d love to give it a shop. Your post makes this kist sound pretty easy. I would go for a vanilla sandalwood or orange patchouli as those are my favourite scents.

No, I never made my own soap. I would like to try making my own honey-lavender scented soap. Wish I paid more attention when my great-grandmother made lye soap back in the day.
