The Healing Tree: Soap and Candle Review
I have noticed a trend recently, the use of charcoal in soap. Now on the first thought, it is a question as to why you would want to use something that is an ashy black residue that usually contains ash. Despite charcoals apparent downsides, these are really upsides. Read further to let me explain further.
The use of charcoal has many benefits including removing dangerous toxins from your body, reduces the appearance of acne and can remove the dead skin that can cause skin problems.
I met The Healing Tree at The Natural Products Expo an reached out for an opportunity to review a couple of items. The Healing Tree sent me the Bamboo Charcoal Soap and the Sweet Orange Ginger Candle. The Bamboo Charcoal Soap is a simple bar of soap. Bamboo Charcoal Soap removes dirt, toxins and dead skin cells. The soap has a mild scent, and washes off clean and smooth.
The Sweet Orange Ginger Candle smells so good that I must have just sat and smelled it before I burned it. Once I burned it, there was a clean smell and a clean burn. I have yet to use this to the end, but I have burned it a couple of hours and it is only 1/4 down on the wax. If the previous is any indication this candle will be burning at least another 6-8 hours.
The Healing Tree offer a range of product categories including Joint Supports, Women’s Apparel, Body Relief Products, Personal Care, Tea, Herbal Remedies, and Pet Products.
