Gourmet Gift Baskets: Gourmet Deluxe Meat & Cheese Sampler

Gourmet Gift Baskets: Gourmet Deluxe Meat & Cheese Sampler Review + Giveaway

There has been a lot of transition going on around us lately – from neighbors moving to hospital visits, it has been a long and rough couple months. When life gets hard, simplicity is sometimes preferred and wanted. To make these monumental events easier, sending a gift basket can make a bad day, that much better.

When I need a easy gift that i know will make my loved ones smile I send a item from GourmetGiftBaskets.com and when I recently received the Deluxe Gourmet Meat and Cheese Sampler I knew that I would be adding it to my list of baskets to be sent.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of GourmetGiftBaskets.com. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

The Deluxe Gourmet Meat & Cheese Sampler from GourmetGiftBaskets.com is a basket that is filled with crackers, sausage and cheeses. The Deluxe Gourmet Meat & Cheese Sampler includes the following:

Olive Oil & Sea Salt Hors D’Oeuvre Crackers by Partners – These are not just any artisan crackers. These are crunchy and lightly seasoned with gourmet olive oil and sea salt. These make a nice flavor with the enclosed cheeses.

Walla Walla Sweet Onion Flatbread Crackers by Partners – While onions can be hit or miss on crackers, these are made with Walla Walla onions from Washington, topped with toasted sesame seeds, making these flatbreads a delicious complement to the cheeses in this basket.

Toasted Sesame Flatbread Crackers by Partners – These thin flatbread crackers are crispy and have sesame seeds throughout the cracker. This gives the crackers a distinctive sesame flavor.

Roasted Garlic with Rosemary Flatbread Crackers by Wisecrackers  – Crackers with roasted garlic and a sprinkle of rosemary on these thin crisp flatbread crackers. The flavor combination works well with the enclosed sausage and cheese.

Smoked Pepperoni by Vermont Smoke & Cure – This smoky and spicy pepperoni is addictive and delicious with the crackers and cheese – my favorite was a cracker with this sausage and the Ultra Sharp Cheddar.

Garlic Summer Sausage by Nueske’s – Smoked over applewood, this sausage is handcrafted that using authentic spices and seasonings. The flavor of the sausage is a nice addition to the cheeses and crackers.

Monterey Jack Jalapeño Cheese by Mountain View Cheese Co. – This is a creamy Monterrey Jack cheese is livened up with the addition of pieces of zesty jalapeño peppers throughout.

Savory Garlic Cheddar Cheese by Mountain View Cheese Co. – A zesty garlic blends perfectly with mild cheddar cheese and will go perfectly with your favorite cracker!

Spicy Cheddar & Veggie Cheese by Mountain View Cheese Co. – This is a spicy, smoky combinations of chipotle peppers and pieces of garden fresh veggies all combined with sharp cheddar cheese.

Ultra Sharp Cheddar Cheese by Mountain View Cheese Co. – If you are a fan of cheddar cheese this ultra sharp cheddar will be the perfect thing to accompany the crackers and meat!

If you are looking for a comprehensivly flavored basket with generous portions the Deluxe Gourmet Meat & Cheese Sampler would make a great gift for anyone in your life.

When I was married it seemed that I was the host to my husbands family a lot of the holidays and other times throughout the year. After we divorced I moved back to my hometown which is about 15 miles from the nearest town. My house is out of the way for the majority so I do not entertain much at all.
I can’t think of anything out of the ordinary that happened when I did entertain.

I do not entertain. But I do have family over for family dinners. I love having birthday parties with cookouts. Those are memorable to me because they are families having fun.

We don’t do a lot of entertaining lately, but we use to have some great Christmas parties. We also use to host “tv night” when friends would come over to watch a show that we all enjoyed.

I entertain by way of both monthly cocktail party and lyceum revival.
The best moment was last April when I induced my inebriated guests to walk barefoot on hot coals in emulation of the Holy Men of India.
