All Good Products: All Stars Set Review

All Good Products: All Stars Set Review & Giveaway

Let’s be honest, we are in a time when it is important that companies are environmentally responsible as well as being fiscally responsible. Many times companies donate a part of their profits, or sales to a cause that is relevant and important to their product category. When I attended the Natural Products Expo in March, one thing that I noticed was more companies are backing causes that are important to not only themselves, but their customers.

Being a resident of the coast, the ocean is something that I see and admire each day. There is no doubt that the ocean is as vast as it is large. Despite it’s massive size and power, it still needs us to take care and be aware of the issues that could potentially destroy it.

One company that I came across was All Good Products and their #ReefFriendly campaign. The basic idea of the #ReefFriendly Campaign is to spread awareness to make sure that the products on our skin, are also safe for the underwater reefs. With this added awareness I was curious to give their products a try, and see what makes them different.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of All Good Products/Groundswell Public Relations. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received the 6 item All Stars Set, which included the following:

Organic Original Lip Balm and and SPF15 Organic Tangerine Lip Balm – Living on the coast, my lips dry out quickly, so having a effective lip balm is essential. For the times I do leave, having a lip balm with SPF included protects my lips while keeping them moist. Each of these balms are USDA Certified Organic, are gluten-free and made with a blend of certified organic essential oils.

The Goop – Organic Healing Balm is organic and a versatile salve that can be used on razor burn, sunburns, chapped lips, cuts, scrapes, rashes, bug/flea bites and even dry skin. This is a simple salve and does not have an overly greasy feeling since it is petroleum free. What makes this different is that it is handcrafted in a solar powered kitchen. The reason for this is that it is made with the intention for healing in every jar. It is made with Certified Organic Herbs and olive oil, including hand harvested calendula from their farm.

The Natural Deodorant in Cedarwood & Spruce is a natural and formulated using naturally occurring enzymes and essential oils to fight odor causing bacteria. By using arrowroot powder to absorb moisture, which keeps underarms dry and fresh. This smelled clean and fresh, and was easy to use for application.

The Herbal Freeze is all-natural pain relief spray that provides a relief for sore muscles and joints. The pain can be related to strains, sprains and arthritis, while also providing relief for backaches, cramps and headaches. I used this on my shoulder, which starts to hurt after 5+ hours on my computer, and shortly after application I did feel a bit of relief.

The tin of Sunscreen Butter SPF 50+ is a simple way to have sunscreen on-the-go. This butte is made with only 5 ingredients plus zinc oxide. This is a #ReefFriendly formula and is water resistant and also good for sensitive skin. This went on easy, and did not have a greasy feeling after application.

As an added contribution to the earth, give 1% of all revenues to environmental causes, not 1% of profits, but 1% of overall sales!! Each of these products are simple ingredients and are safe for the world around us.

If you are looking for a company that cares about the oceans, the reefs and people – check out All Good Products, they are All Good!

My favorite charitable causes would be animal shelters or any service for animals, especially our local shelters. I also like to donate to children’s causes or any charities for disabled people or veterans.

My local thrift store is my favorite charitable cause. They’re so different from the average thrift store. In addition to selling donated items, they have women who take some of these items and remake them into other things which they donate to the store for resale. They weave rugs from jeans, etc. that cannot be sold; they make candles which they melt into beautiful mugs, etc.; they knit items made from donated yarn. I love shopping there for myself and to purchase gifts.

The human brain and its function (and in turn, its dysfunction) remains an enigma. Hence, my decision to donate to the National Institute of Mental Health.

Safe Haven, I choose it because it’s a Battered Ladies Charity. They take donations of money and clothes and more. They use the clothing to help the ladies get jobs to help support themselves and their family. You have to call on where to leave donations because they keep their location secret. You can usually donate to a Fire Department. I think it’s a great cause because they at least are taking control of their lives and escaping abuse.

My favorite charitable cause is St Jude Chuldrens Hospital. I feel that there are so very many sick children with cancer and if my child was in that situation I wouldn’t want them to be any place else therefore I support them when I can.

Mine is the Red Cross. In 2002 my apt. complex burned down due to stove left unattended. 100 families lost everything..mine included and I lost my 2 cats as well. Red Cross helped me get back on my feet. They bought me clothes, food and paid first months rent on a new place.
