The best mother’s day I’ve ever had was when my two sons, who both live out of state, and one out of country, flew in to spend a week with me without my knowing they were coming! I hadn’t seen either one of them for over a year! (I cried a lot from joy!)

My most memorable Mother’s Day was when my oldest child was stationed overseas. It was pouring rain outside that day, so I was visiting with my other adult children at home. I heard someone at the door and it was a flower delivery man with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. Within minutes my son called me on the phone and talked with us for a bit. I was so surprised and felt so loved and blessed by all of my kids remembering me.

It was the year my husband asked me what do you want for mothers day. I said a wooden swing set for the kids. We went and bought the stuff and that whole weekend we built the kids there swingset from scratch, slide swings climbing wall tower. Oh my God the kids were so excited they were 4 and 2. Every year we would mark there height on the swing set. The year we moved it was still standing and they were 12 and 10 I cried I took pictures of the wall with there height. The kids still talk about the year we built the swing set. Best memorie ever!!

My most memorable Mother’s Day was when my husband sent me to the mall shopping with carte blanche on the credit card. But the big surprise was when I came home and they had planted new rose bushes for me and took me out to a really nice dinner.

My most memorable Mother’s Day was when my 3 sisters, 4 brothers and I surprised my mom with a professional photo shoot for the family. She had wanted some new photos of all of us together and was so happy to finally have them. We also did some silly ones and they were so fun to do and turned out great 🙂

My 19 year old niece had passed away suddenly two days before Mother’s Day in 2013. She was the same age as my oldest daughter. My husband & daughter’s made me breakfast in bed and my daughter’s gave me flowers and a beautiful card that made me cry. My oldest daughter’s best friend also posted a sweet message for me on facebook that day.

My most memorable Mother’s Day was the day I gave birth to one of my sons. It was either that day or the day after that I had him. And before him I had a son and a daughter and after him I had two more son’s. It’s was mother’s day of 1993 and I will never forget that day ever. Mother’s Day is such a wonderful day.

When my Mom was still living, I took her and my aunt to a Mother’s Day brunch at a Radisson hotel. The food was fabulous. There was a piano player. We were served champagne. We each got a cut flower. It was white tablecloth. It was exquisite! We all talked about this day for years to come!!
