Garlic Gold: Garlic Gold Gift Box Holiday 2016 Giveaway

Garlic Gold: Garlic Gold Gift Box  Holiday 2016 Giveaway

garlic-gold-collection-verticalSince I have ventured into the world of cooking I have discovered that even if your ingredients or protein are of lower quality if you have solid spices, most items can be recovered.

The one item that we tend to use a lot of is Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is important to monitor the heat and light that the oil receives, as these two elements will destroy the oil. Since this is a consideration while cooking, I have been practicing my heat application.

With the coming holidays upon us, Garlic Gold has offered a Garlic Gold Gift Box to one lucky reader!

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Seven Oaks Farm/Garlic Gold. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I was sent the Garlic Gold Nuggets Gift Box set which includes the one bottle of Garlic Gold® Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette, one bottle of Garlic Gold Oil – Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, one bottle of Garlic Gold® Sea Salt Nuggets, and one jar of Garlic Gold® Garlic.

sea-salt-nuggetsMy favorite item in this gift pack was the Garlic Gold® Sea Salt Nuggets. With a nice garlic and salt combination this was really good over a bowl of pasta.

garlic-gold-olive-oil-and-lemon-vinegaretteSince I had reviewed the Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette in the past, I was super excited to receive it again.  This is a simple oil which was lemon flavored and just as good as it sounds. The Garlic Gold Oil – Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil was a clean and solid olive oil that was infused with garlic. I used it to make the chicken and it added a nice garlic flavor.

garlic-gold-minced-garlicI have always love the Garlic Gold story since it was started as a high school economics project. The students created a business plan around Rinaldo Brutoco’s garlic recipe The eager high school student packaged, labeled and sold the project at the local farmer’s market. Years later what started as a school project is a USDA certified product that believes in corporate responsibility, creating sustainability and integrity.

Garlic Gold’s products are 100% USDA Certified Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan and hand-crafted.

I love making cookies – each year we pick out a new cookie that we’re going to try out! The thing that probably disappears the quickest tho is the Banana Bread!!
