We all know the logo – the girl with pigtails with the collared shirt – she is Wendy. Wendy is the ubiquitous mascot to this international fast food restaurant. Since I was a young girl, I not only knew the logo but also knew the exits that they were located on frequently traveled routes. When I was young my father would enjoy stopping here, while I found the food not as tasty as other burger places, plus I wanted my toy in my meal. As I have gotten older and my tastes change, I have come to enjoy Wendy’s in a way I could not appreciate when I was young.
A couple of weeks ago I was watching television and saw advertisements for a new salad with strawberries and mangos. I was curious how this fruity flavor would play against the lettuce and chicken.
I decided to reach out and within a couple weeks I was given the opportunity to sample Wendy’s Summer Salads as well as thier other salads and three seasonal drinks that use Honest Tropical Green Tea as a base.
South of France: Orange Honey Blossom Foaming Hand Soap Review & Giveaway
Often times when I decide to review an item, it is an item that I plan to begin using in my home. The places and ways that I get items range from simple internet searches, to Expo’s and Shows.
When I attended the 2017 Natural Products Expo, literally the first company that I saw was South of France. The booth was a large lighted booth, that caught my eye and my senses. The booth showcased the range of products and I was lucky to have the chance to get soap samples at the show as well as a foaming hand soap after the show.
When I was young we adopted a dog and while I tired puppy raising I was young and did not know what I was doing. I had little guidance, and due to my age, I was practically being raised with my puppy.
As pet guardians, we want to do the best for our pets and give them the best life we can. The downside is that we do not speak puppy and knowing what they need or want at each stage of their lives can be difficult.
As regular readers know, we are Shark Tank fans, and last year I saw a company featured that focuses on that special time in your puppies life. The PupBox Subscription Box is a monthly box tailored to the age and developmental stage your puppy is at.
I am so excited to announce that we are Chewy.com Influencers! What this means is that each month Chewy.com sends us an email with a selection of items that are for dogs, cats and small animals (birds and hamsters) for review. The items range from food, snacks, and supplies needed for pet guardianship. Each month I will bring you a different product that Maggee and Murfee will personally try out.
I was super excited to not only be accepted but then to have the chance to pick an item out for Maggee and Murfee this month. As I scrolled down the email, one item caught my eye – Fresh Step Cat Litter.
Cat Litter is a product that we always need and is always used. Since my cats are highly adaptable I had no hesitation with this litter change, since the brands we normally used would be different than this new one. I chose the Fresh Step Hawaiian Aloha Scoopable Litter and eagerly waited for the ubiquitous Chewy.com blue logo box.
There has been a lot of transition going on around us lately – from neighbors moving to hospital visits, it has been a long and rough couple months. When life gets hard, simplicity is sometimes preferred and wanted. To make these monumental events easier, sending a gift basket can make a bad day, that much better.
When I need a easy gift that i know will make my loved ones smile I send a item from GourmetGiftBaskets.com and when I recently received the DeluxeGourmet Meat and Cheese Sampler I knew that I would be adding it to my list of baskets to be sent.
Every day I take the same walk down the same hill to get my mail. Most days I get a box or two, and a magazine, plus the usual white enveloped mail. Once a month I get a package whose contents are unknown to me, and it is random. This white bag is nestled in with it’s bigger Box of Awesome and its contents are completely random.
This random package I am speaking of is the Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome by That Daily Deal.com. Each month, similar to the regular Box of Awesome that is offered, there is no theme is chosen. Instead of theme a random selection of 2 – 3 gender neutral items are included in this white package.
Peaches & Petals Subscription Box: June 2017 Review
Summer is upon us, and for some people the summer is already half over. It is important to savor and enjoy those summer nights while they are with us.
When I received this months box, I was thrilled to see a couple of items that will enhance our summer vacation. The theme for the June Peaches and Petals box theme was “Summer Lovin'” and each item fit within that theme perfectly.
When I think of decadent and delicious sweets, the first thing that comes to mind is Chocolate. Chocolate is versatile and the options for additions are endless.
Throughout my years, when I go to the store, I always look at the chocolate offerings at the checkout, but the quality seems to be decreasing as time goes on. I have been wanting a high quality chocolate bar that I can feel good about eating.
A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to try Ocho Candy when I completed a survey about their new packaging. I was so impressed with this sample that I wanted to try the rest of the chocolate available.
This post was sponsored by My Size Up but this in no way will influence the post to follow and all opinions are my own.
Since becoming a home owner there are many things to consider and complete. Each day it seems more I need to know the information about sizes and measure menus in my house. If there is one struggle that I seem to always have is that I can not find my measuring tape when I need it. The one item I do have near me most days is my phone. I am always looking for ways to utilize my phone in ways that are beneficial and time-saving and with the new SizeUp by MySize application for Android, my phone becomes a tape measure.
Stampin’ Up: Seaside Shore Clear-Mount Stamp Set Review + Giveaway
A couple of weeks ago I took a walk to the beach, and discovered that it is about 1400 steps from my house. As I took the walk up the hill that leads to the beach, I wondered if I would see any whales, dolphins or sand art. As I crested the peak of the hill, I began to smell the familiar smell of ocean air, and my steps increased. Once I reached the coast, I was met with blue skies, white water and so many surfers surfing.
As I walked home, I was struck by how lucky I was that I am able to witness this beauty with a simple walk. I want to share the sights, sounds and the feeling of the ocean, and the best way is with cards and letters.
It was on that day of 1400 steps that I took the new stamp set Seaside Shore Wood-Mounted Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up to get some pictures of the coast. When I got home, I realized that with this stamps set I could tell the story of my walk.
