The Season of Giving With Picture Keeper Connect — The Perfect Gift For Preserving Your Memories
This is a sponsored post in partnership with PictureKeeper and BraVoMark. All opinions are mine
When I was a teenager, I loved to take photos of my family and friends. Where I was, so was my camera and I spend many allowances on film development. Around the same time I began committing Random Act of Kindness, I believed that the more good I put into the world, the more I would get back. As I got older, and continued this I see how one simple act can have a ripple effect and change people’s lives.
During the busy holiday season, it is important to remember that effect we have on people’s lives. One of the best ways to see this effect is in photos, and there is nothing more special this time of year than those moments of kindness.
The one thing that you do not want to worry about is losing those moments frozen in time and with the Picture Keeper Connect you know your photos will be there.
DIY HALLOWEEN WREATH for under $10.00 at Dollar Tree
Living in a tiny house, the decorating options can not be as extravagant as I may want at times. I am always looking for ways to decorate, while keeping the space available in my home. One of the easiest ways to decorate for the upcoming season is with a wreath and this DIY Halloween Wreath is the perfect way to welcome all the ghosts and ghouls of the season.
This was an easy, project that took about 4-5 hours, and I know you will love it!
If there is one craft supply that is in abundance at my house, it is corks. I have family that only drink’s wine and the corks get saved for me. Since, Fall is upon us, and so I thought i would make a DIY Cork Pumpkin for my Fall decorating.
This was an easy, relaxing project that I know you will love!

Gourmet Gift Baskets: Chocolate Covered Christmas Pretzels Review + Giveaway
Recently I discovered the art of melting chocolate and the art of covering items in chocolate.
Shortly after I discovered this I attempted to make my own dark chocolate covered pretzels. To say it was difficult to make would be an understatement. The concept of putting sprinkles on the chocolate was way beyond my scope of abilities at the time. It was then I decided that i would purchase these in the future and not attempt to make these again.
When I was contacted recently from GourmetGiftBaskets.com, and saw their Christmas Pretzels I knew that I had to give these a try since they looked so much better than my feeble attempt.
Gourmet Gift Baskets: Happy Hanukkah Oreo® Cookies Review + Giveaway
One of my favorite things when I was a teenager and I hosted slumber parties one of my favorite treats were Chocolate Covered Oreos.
Truth be told, I would deliberately make my friends think they were not good so that I would have more. This plan was 1 part genius and 1 part selfish and inevitably I would end up sharing despite my deep desire to hoard them to myself.
When I was contacted recently from GourmetGiftBaskets.com, and saw their Happy Hanukkah Oreo® Cookies I was reminded of those moments of indulgence.
Gourmet Gift Baskets: Nostalgic Candy Gift Crate Review + Giveaway
If there is one way to describe me, nostalgic comes to mind. I love to see things from my youth, and have began a collection of old toys and advertisements.
One thing that always reminds me of my childhood is candy. I remember when I was young, my father would take me to breakfast each weekend, and while he sat and chatted with friends, I would go over to the general store in the same center and purchase a couple of pieces of candy. My choices were usually items that would give me more candy, for less cost.
When I was recently contacted by GourmetGiftBaskets.com, and took a little time to peruse their website, I was immediately struck with gift inspiration – the first thing that caught my eye was the Nostalgic Candy Gift Crate.
When i think of the the holidays, I think of a potluck style meal, where everybody brings their favorite side dish.
A couple of years ago I got over zealous and made over 7 different types of bread. I searched online, pinning boards and my bread recipe collection. I ended up making a couple of pumpkin bread’s, a couple of banana bread’s, a cranberry-apple bread, and a zucchini bread. The process was laborious and as one baked, another would be loaded into the oven.
Since that holiday, each time there is a potluck, I am the “official” bread baker of the family. With the added awareness of gluten sensitivities, my once simple bread making process has changed and I end up making 1/2 of the breads gluten-free.
With my bread making duties starting and the holidays approaching, I am looking for time-saving ways to create many loafs, minus the work. One way I have learned to save time is to purchase the “base” of the bread from Whole Note Food Company, and add the fresh fruits and vegetables to the mix prior to baking.
Color Your Christmas: A Crafty ChristmasAdult Coloring BookReview + Giveaway
We are about 6 weeks until Christmas and I am already seeing the signs and icons of the season. Each time I go to the store I see more and more reds, greens and golds.
My favorite thing about the holidays is something that I rarely experience – snow and snowmen. I have begun collecting these white balls of personality, and dream of seeing a white Christmas.
For the time being the closest I can get is on television and my own imagination. I love adult coloring books for this reason – I can let my imagination run wild. When I received the Color Your Christmas:A Crafty Christmas Adult Coloring Bookby Blue Star Premier and Suzy Joyner I was eager to see images of the upcoming season.
