Brush Pen Lettering: A Step-by-Step Workbook for Learning Decorative Scripts and Creating Inspired Styles Review + Giveaway
As much as I love review blogging there is another thing I love to do – write and send cards to loved ones.
I believe that the art of handwriting is slowly being eliminated from the skills people hold. Instead of being able to do clean brush lettering, people strive to have the most words typed from their smart phones.
Each year I write cards and notes, and each year I strive to make my handwriting better. I am always looking for books and step-by-step instructions to extend those skills. When I recently I received a copy of Brush Pen Lettering: A Step-by-Step Workbook for Learning Decorative Scripts and Creating Inspired Styles by Grace Song for review I was excited to perfect my abilities for future cards.

The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide: Using the Science of Carrier & Essential Oils to Create Natural Personal Care Products Review + Giveaway
I have always loved learning, and reading. I think I learn best when I am left to read the instructions and the execute the action. As I have aged I have learned that is more I do not know than do know and that excites me – it means I still have a ton to learn.
The one thing that I love to learn about and to educate myself about is essential oils. The great thing is that is always something to learn, make and concoct where these versatile oils are concerned. When I recently got The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide and looked through it I knew I found a great reference.
Ever since I was young, I have been a planner. One of my favorite gifts were day planners and calendars. Each time I received a new planner or calendar I would spend the next couple hours making note of important birthdays, events and important school dates.
Now that I am older, I still love planners but like them to be a little more than just dates and space to write events. Ideally, a planner can help me plan, but also inspire me to think bigger, and set goals.
As the blog grows, I find my dreams growing so this year I decided that it was time I get a planner that will not only make note of dates, but also give me a place to brainstorm and dream. When I began looking for the perfect planner I came across the Think Time Journal Planner.
