2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SEL AWC Review #DriveShop

Spending 7 Days With The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SEL AWC – A Review

I was provided an opportunity to test drive the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SEL through DriveShop for a week – no compensation was provided and all opinions are my own.

Some weeks are more exciting than others, and the week that I got the opportunity to test drive the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SEL, it was a normal week with little special events planned.

I decided that instead of a grand adventure far from home, I would have a grand adventure close to home. Since I live in a beach town, the opportunities for photos are vast and as big as the ocean.

Finding The Right Car with

This post was sponsored by, but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Recently, we purchased a new car – a 2017 Subaru Forester. It took us over a month to make the decision on the make, model and features. To come to this decision we followed a couple of tips that without, our car buying results would not have been as favorable.

When we began looking there were a couple of cars in our price point, and all of comparable build, so it came down to the important things.

The first thing that we did was research, and more research. Jason is a big guy and I am of average size, finding a car that fit him, yet did not make me feel engulfed was paramount. As we began to do our research used to do our research, which was extensive. One thing we wanted to see was video reviews, which we found on easily. One very important factor for us was we wanted the good, bad and the ugly on the considered cars, which we were able to locate on

Another important thing to do is SHOP AROUND! I can not express this more! Each dealership has different makes, models and trims, so it is worth a look to see what each dealer has available. With technology and email, you can even email a dealership to inquire about inventory. When you do this initial shopping around, you will gain a baseline of what the car basically costs with desired features and trims.

The other important factor is to go in educated about your potential car. When we went to the dealer, we knew the details of the car we wanted. This immediately told the salesman that we could not be taken advantage of. We knew the potential rebates and we knew the features we wanted. We felt empowered and in control of a situation that most times feels out of control, which led us to to feeling we got the best deal.

With the right research using we found the perfect car that fits Jason and gives me the safety I desire. We both agree that we could not imagine another car and could not be happier with our purchase. We know that it was the research ahead of time that lead us to our car.

2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature AWD Review #DriveShop

A Week With The 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature AWD –  A Review

I was provided an opportunity to test drive the 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature Edition through DriveShop for a week – no compensation was provided and all opinions are my own.

As a blogger I get some very fun and unique opportunities so when I was given the opportunity to test drive the new 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature AWD, I jumped at the chance. Given that we were given a car, we decided to take it into the mountains, and give it a little off road time and see how it handled in this curvy road conditions.

The 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature AWD (All Wheel Drive) was impressive from the moment I saw it. The Machine Grey Metallic and 20″ Alloy Wheels made the car look distinguished yet approachably drivable. The car seats 5 comfortably with an optional 2 additional seats in the rear that fold down to extend trunk space when not in use.

The sticker states that the car gets 20 miles per gallon in the city, and 26 on the highway. While I can not attest to the accuracy of this claim, I can say that we drove a couple hundred miles over the course of the week. Within this week we drove in a variety of road conditions (stop and go traffic, curvy mountains, freeway and city streets) and seven days later we had a tad under half a tank remaining.

The 2.5 turbo engine gave the car power, while remaining a smooth drive. The car was comfortable for me to drive, and while I loved the feeling on the road, I never felt the car was to much to handle.
