Cat Lady Box Monthly Subscription Review: February 2018

“Super Meowdel” –Cat Lady Box – February 2018 – Review + Giveaway

While I have never been a “girly-girl” I appreciate having the right tools when I do get dressed up. When I received Cat Lady Box this month, all the items themed in a “Super Meowdel” made me want to do my makeup and do my nails and go on the town!

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of CatLadyBox.com in consideration of a review, but all opinions are my own.

The “Super Meowdel” theme contained the following CatLadyBox Exclusive items:

Cat Makeup Brush Set  – CatLadyBox Exclusive: I have been wanting a makeup brush set so I could not be more excited to see a cat themed one. These almost shimmer in the lights and the bristles are soft, all contained in a cute purple Cat Lady Box themed storage with 5 brushes.

Fluffy Cat Art Blanket – CatLadyBox Exclusive: It is no secret that I am a cat fan, and I love having cat items in my home. This blanker is the perfect size and is made by Cat Lady Artist of the Month Asra Rae. This is soft, and it is a original painting.

Sassy Cats Nail Decals and Cat Nail File – CatLadyBox Exclusive: These are the perfect nail accessories for the cat lady in us all. I love the file and plan to add it to my collection of cat items I use.

CAT TOYS Oliver the Owl and Catnip Makeup Brush Cat Toy – CatLadyBox Exclusive: Maggee saw the snowball, and was a bit thrown at first so I was able to distract her with the Snowflake Felt Wand. The wand is plastic, and the fabric reminds me of the same material lanyards are made out of and measures about 3-4 feet, making it easy to play with kitty.

Cat Lady Featured Artist – “Spectra Cosset” by Asra Rae: I LOVED this months artist, and this is full of color. This postcard will be put on my wall and added to my Cat Lady Postcard collection, which always makes me smile!

It is not a secret that I generally love these boxes and you can often find me wearing items I have gotten in past boxes (the Cat Lady Squad Cat Ears Hoodie). This box features so many Cat Lady Exclusive items that are unavailable otherwise, it makes this box a fun and exclusive adventure each month.

As an added bonus to the cat community each month donations is made to a different cat rescue each month. Cat Lady Box also gives subscribers an opportunity to nominate an organization to be a beneficiary of Cat Lady Boxes generosity.

My cat was soo talkative, especially when I had been gone for a while. He would meow at me for half a hour.

“Does your cat “talk” to you? What do they say?” The cat communicates, but does not use words and phrases.

Oh yeah, my cat is very vocal when she wants treats and when I come home she runs up and meows to greet me and to let me know she wants pats.

Maddie sounds like she’s saying hello to me when I say hello to her. Otherwise, she talks to me in a sweet voice (she is a stray I’ve taken in and looks like a Ragdoll, although I doubt she could be – she definitely has the gentle tones of a Maine Coon).

Oh he is very talkative all the time! He loves watching the birdfeeder and the squirrels…and chit chatting with them. Wish I knew what he was saying!!!

My cats talk, and one of them will answer me if I talk to him. I don’t know what he is saying because I don’t speak “cat”. 🙂

Does your cat “talk” to you? What do they say?

Yes.They talk! One cat Ozzzy the 18 year old starts talking headbutting etc at 7am- its all about the wet food. Spyder talks, he wants tap water FRESH, Minie talks, she wants a belly rub, Keesta talks, she wants to be told how pretty she is (she is vain) and Angus talks to me or to the dog, usually about wanting to play.
Even the outside ferals alk- its feed me quicker lay, I got stuff to do, and I smell something in the crockpot is that for us too?

I want a cookie, Why can’t I go outside with the dogs, and Why am I not a real baby? Those are the 3 most common phrases we hear around here lol

Yes, he talks to me. (And I meow right back.) I usually interpret his speech as “Feed me now – I’m starving!” (far from it…), “Why are you silly people still in bed?” (followed IMMEDIATELY by “feed me, I’m starving!”), “Why aren’t you PETTING me? I am FAR more important than your computer, or book, or whatever else you are doing. (Especially paperwork — plop down on top of any paperwork with a self-satisfied “Aren’t I clever” smirk.) and “You don’t really expect me to DO something with that – what did you call it, cat toy?” (He has NO interest in ANY kind of cat toy. even the feather dangling from the wand. He sees it and immediately lies down on his side and watches my HAND. If the feather TOUCHES him, he MIGHT reach out a paw, but otherwise, nothing.)
