CastileSoap.com: Liquid Castile Soap Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway
I am a simple girl, and this simplicity extends to the soaps I use. It is starting to extend to the products I use in my home. My two cats affect my life in many ways, and as of recently in the products that I use around my home to clean myself, my home and even them.
Since I am already a castile soap fan for my facial cleanser I have been wanting to see what else I could do with it. After some quick research I learned that castile soap can be used for anything from washing vegetables to a laundry detergent on over to a body wash. Lucky for our cats, this is also a safe soap to use on animals, so bathes are eminent for 2 creatures soon.
Back in December I had the opportunity to review CastileSoap.com and recently they added liquid castile soap to their monthly subscription box. Since they specialize in only castile soap based soaps I was intrigued and eager to sample this new offering. The great thing about castile soap is that it utilizes the natural and essential oils to add benefit to each soap. Castile Soap is not only bio-degradable but also organic, and contains no harsh elements, and it is safe to use on children and pets!
I received the following for review:
Calendula: This is a white colored soap with about an inch of pink exfoliating soap on the top. The best way to describe this scent is slightly floral with a clean smell. This Organic Calendula contains Organic Calendula Extracts, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Sodium Hydrate, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Glycerine and Deionized Water in addition to the Castile Soap base. Green Tea – Anti-Aging: Is there anything that Green Tea can not help with? This anti-aging formula smells so good. The Organic Green Tea soap contains Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green-Tea) extracts, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Chamomile Extracts, Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Tea Polyphenols, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Glycerine, Deionized Water and Sodium Hydrate as well as the Castile base.
Liquid Castile Soap: The newest addition to the Castilesoap.com line up, this is a simple castile soap that left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I loved that this is a stripped down soap and contains no negative ingredients.
Each bottle of castile soap is not only Vegan and Cruelty Free but it is also Gluten-Free, free of parabens, contains NO artificial preservatives, no petroleum, no phthalates, no sulfates or salts, no sodium chloride or colors and dyes. This is a pure as soap can be!
As an added touch, each bar of CastileSoap.com’s soap is embossed with the CastileSoap.com logo. Each bar of castile soap is bright and colorful, and smells good. The lather that is created from these soaps is what you would expect and is not overly excessive in anyway. The scent stays on skin even after being washed off and remains slight and fragrant throughout the day.
Monthly subscriptions start at $8.00/1 bar of soap or $18.00/3 bars of soap + Free Shipping! Each month will be different from the previous month.
