Banana Wave: BananaMilk Review + Giveaway
One of my favorite fruits are bananas. Whenever I am needing a pick-me up I go for the bananas and the potassium that they pack. The other favorite of mine is banana smoothies. I love to stop at my local store, pickup some bananas, and gather the ice, and blend myself the perfect snack.
When I heard that there was a way to have the bananas I love while getting that smoothie flavor without the work intrigued me. The products was Banana Wave – BananaMilk and from the first taste the taste, smell and flavor was bananas.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Fresh Start Beverage. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
I received a carton of Banana Wave – BananaMilk for review.
From the moment I received this package I was surprised. When I accepted to review this I assumed that it would come cooled with strick instructions to keep this below a certain temperature. Much to my surprise when I opened the package, there was nothing cold to keep this at any particular temperature.
As it turns out this can be served warm or cold, although i would HIGHLY recommend getting this cold if not creating a smoothie out of it.
This product may be called milk but there is no milk or dairy included. The Banana Wave – BananaMilk contains 3 “superfoods” which include fruit, grains and seeds. The base of this is pure banana puree, and since it does, one serving is equal to a small banana. Also included in carton are 29 vitamins and minerals, as well as 1200 mg of Omega-3’s.
Banana Wave – BananaMilk is gluten-free, dairy free, all natural and certified Non-GMO in additions to being naturally sweet.
Since the banana is such a versatile and loved fruit this makes for a delicious, creamy and nutrient-filled drink. This dairy-free drinks derives from an ancient African recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. This recipe was first introduced to the company founder, Neter Alkebulan, by his own Grandmother.
The versatility of this drinks makes it not only delicious and refreshing, but can also be its own as a snack. The Banana Wave – BananaMilk can be used as a meal replacement, can be used on cereal. Also versatile enough to use for cooking and baking.
Once this carton is opened it can last anywhere from 7-10 days in the fridgerator.
I have already made a smoothie and I plan to use this in place of milk in a cookie recipe I will be making in the next couple days.
If you are looking for a way to have your bananas, in a new and different, but very tasty way, give Banana Wave – BananaMilk a try!
