Anatomicals Hand Soap and Lotion Review

5 products AnatomicalsI have mentioned before that I did not grow up a girly girl. I avoided make-up other than special occasions, really never got the appeal of heels (this may be in part to being 5’7 and not wanting to over tower people). I never really collected or used scented lotions or body scrubs either. Then there was a shift that occurred and all of a sudden it became an enjoyable activity to collect and use these scented products and I began my collection.

Since this discovery I enjoy soaps, body lotions, and everything in between. I have discovered that I like the fruit smells over the floral, but love the floral scents and could not choose a true favorite. The fruit combinations are not only fragrant smelling but the fruits that are used have benefits are also included. I love when I discover a company who uses this combination to create quality body products – enter Anatomicals products.

Anatomicals was launched in New Zealand and whose products are all paraben free. The reason that the products being paraben free is a good thing is because parabens are the preservatives included in many beauty products. Parabens are used in shampoos, conditioners, shaving gels, personal lubricants, make-up, toothpaste as well as many other beauty products. Without the parabens included you end up with a much more natural product.

The Anatomicals products are packaged in bright-colored packages with easy push and flip tops and created over the pond in Britain. Anatomicals was generous enough to send us a sampling of their extensive product line to sample, including:

AnatomicalsCitrus Body Scrub: This is called The Buff Stuff and that is a great description of this product. This citrus based scrub comes in 200ML (6.6oz) and is a shade of pink with exfoliating granules suspended throughout the bottle. This works great and has a wonderful hint of grapefruit. After my shower my skin felt like I truly lost a layer or two and was softer than it has been in a long time.

AnatomicalsCoconut & Mango Body Lotion: I have mentioned in earlier reviews that coconut is generally not my favorite taste, but it is a top scent. The lotion comes in a 200ML (6.6OZ) bottle. The lotion dries on hands well and does not leave a greasy residue.

Passion Fruit Hand Soap: I love hand soaps and I love to have a variety of hand soaps for either Jason and I to use. The variety and smells make me happy and these Anatomical soaps left my hands clean and soft.

Fashionably Fruity Body Cleanser: This is a fresh cleanser that smelled deliciously fruity and clean. There was not a lot of suds, but I have learned that suds do not equal effectiveness. This cleanser left my skin feeling clean and smooth.

Anatomicals BlueberryBlueberry Hand Cream: The best description for this lotion is a light blue color that smells just like blueberry. This was not a greasy hand cream but rather a soft and quick drying lotion. Perfect for after doing dishes when hands need the most moisturizer.

I was very pleased with these lotions, scrubs and soaps and would not hesitate to give them as gift basket contents and housewarming gifts.

While this might be a little more difficult to locate, the effort involved will completely be worth your time. I plan on purchasing other Anatomical products and continue the purchasing after I have depleted my current supply.
