My favorite was actually one when I was single. I went out and got my hair cut and colored, and then ended up having makeup done because the girl at the mall was bored and offered to do it. Then I went home, put on my favorite outfit, and took my younger cousin to Chuck E Cheese.

One Valentine’s Day that stands out in my memory is when my husband and I took our teen-aged daughter out to dinner with us. Michigan is COLD in the winter and everyone wanted to try the new restaurant in our area. We waited in line outdoors for at least a half hour. The dinner was really good and their deep fried Twinkies were yummy and beautifully presented.

We used to go to Black Angus for dinner but it get’s so busy we decided to make our own Black Angus steak dinner at home. We bought it all, brown bread, baked potato soup, filet mignon, baked potato’s and bought the most decadent chocolate layer cake we could find. It was so much fun cooking it all together.

Years ago my friends and I pitched in to surprise our wives on Vday. It was a total secret, we just told the ladies to dress up and be ready at a certain time to leave. We reserved a dining room at a nice Inn and rented a limo to pick the ladies up, with champagne in the limo for them. As the ladies arrived all together in the limo, the guys were lined up outside in our suits and ties (in the cold) holding a rose for each of our lovely wives. It was a special night and a great memory!

My most memorable Valentines has to be the first I spent with my girlfriend. She chose to move to Texas to attend the university there and on Valentines I decided to surprise her with a visit. I told her that her package would be delivered at around 4. When she heard a knock on the door she expected the mailman, but was instead greeted with a big stuffy, flowers, chocolate and yours truly ^^ That moment of sheer happiness and the smile on her face just makes me tear up every time. Jazmin I know you wont ever see this but I love you!! Thank you for every moment we’ve spent together.

I always loved Valentines Day as a kid! It was always so fun making pretty boxes and Valentines for all of my classmates. 🙂 Not to mention it usually meant a party and an actual fun day at school, lol.

My most memorable Valentine’s Day was when I surprised my wife with her engagement ring and a diamond tennis bracelet. We had talked about getting married in September but I planned on surprising my wife on Valentine’s All during the months leading up to Valentine she was throwing hints around but I acted like I didn’t know what she was talking about. On Valentine’s she was really surprised and happy.
